Mobility Cane Expedition Update: Bathurst to Sedgefield

The team set off at first light from Bathurst and rode non-stop to Sedgefield, pausing only for fuel—time was of the essence as Sam had a 2 PM pamper appointment!

Precious Paws Pet Parlour & Store generously sponsored a wash and brush for Sam, the expedition’s loyal four-legged companion. After two weeks of adventure on muddy roads, he was in dire need of a cleanup. Unfortunately, his human teammates, Chris and Big Mike, weren’t so lucky—Celia’s grooming services don’t extend to people!

The team is staying with Darryl and Avril of the Sedgefield Lion’s Club, where Chris will be speaking tonight. Their warm hospitality ensures the team can wash off the dust from their travels before the event.
