We’re thrilled to share exciting updates from Cambodia!

One of our dedicated board members, Dan, has just returned from an inspiring and impactful journey. While his primary mission involved partnering with another organization, Dan made the most of the opportunity by extending our global outreach to the blind community in Cambodia.

He brought along life-changing resources—including braille materials, white canes, and solar-powered audio Bible players preloaded with our Cane Mobility Guide, cane restoration instructions, and heartfelt testimonies. These tools were shared with Discover Your Possibilities, a local organization dedicated to supporting the blind in Cambodia.

Dan shared his reflections with deep gratitude:

“It was so great to meet part of the DYP team! My visit to Cambodia was incredibly impactful. The team I traveled with accomplished more than expected at the children’s center in Battambang, and we were also able to explore more of Cambodia than anticipated. Visiting the Killing Fields and ancient temples gave us a deeper understanding and appreciation for the country.

I’m excited about our continued involvement and can’t wait to see how these canes empower the blind in Siem Reap to gain more independence and confidence.”
