One week. 67 lives. Countless first steps toward freedom.

It’s happening right now.

Our team is on the ground in Honduras this week, training 67 blind individuals, from young children to grandparents, in Orientation and Mobility (O&M) skills.

For many of them, this is the very first time holding a white cane.

It’s more than a tool.

It’s a key.

One that opens sidewalks, schoolyards, workplaces, and a level of confidence that was always there, just waiting for the opportunity to grow.

Leading the charge is our O&M instructor, Dean, from Georgia, a man who has become a frequent flyer for freedom.

From Jamaica to Honduras to Mexico, he continues showing up wherever he’s needed, cane in one hand and hope in the other, proving that independence has no borders and no language barrier.

A huge thank you to Ambutech and the Knights of Columbus in Donelson, Nashville, Tennessee, for providing these canes, including our exclusive double-tip design, built to extend the life of each cane up to twice as long.

That’s freedom built to last.
