Our team in Ethiopia is thrilled for the opportunity to stay longer and make an even greater impact. Sending a new team on a separate trip would be significantly more costly, so we’re maximizing this opportunity to extend our reach while minimizing expenses.
We are incredibly grateful for your support, which is what allows us to continue empowering individuals who are blind or visually impaired across the country.
This Week’s Mission Highlights
Throughout the week, our team will:
- Continue supporting the local Brerham High School in Addis Ababa
- Strengthen partnerships with schools and organizations across Ethiopia
- Collaborate with local mobility experts, instructors, and sports directors
- Provide mobility training and white cane instruction
- Distribute solar-powered audio players featuring: the Bible in Native Languages, Audio Cane Training Guides, Music and Uplifting Content
In addition, we’re actively exploring other areas of need, including:
- Peer-to-peer mentorship programs
- Mental health support
