What an incredible day for the You Cane Give (YCG) team!

Billy, his wonderful wife, the inspiring Moses, and the passionate Aklilu met with the Ethiopian National Federation of the Blind, setting the stage for a future filled with purpose and possibility.

The Federation shared heartfelt stories of past disappointments—promises made, then broken. But today felt different. Enter Jimmy, whose powerful voice echoed over WhatsApp, rekindling hope. He boldly affirmed YCG’s unwavering commitment to its mission, backed by a proven history of partnerships and follow-through. When we pledge, we deliver.

Moses’ testimony was deeply moving. He shared how receiving a mobility cane from You Cane Give transformed his life—and how the mission holds the power to uplift countless other “Moseses” across Ethiopia. His words resonated, inspiring all in attendance.

And then there was Billy—his experience, wisdom, and immense heart radiated throughout the room. He spoke not only of distributing canes but of the life-changing instruction that can accompany them, including Bible-based guidance and empowerment. His passion sparked a sense of purpose that was truly contagious.

The welcome from the Federation was overwhelming, filling the room with warmth, energy, and renewed optimism.

 Plans are already underway for future collaboration—uniting around shared goals, strategic partnerships, and long-term impact for the blind community in Ethiopia.
