Three weeks. 25 different talks. Over 4,000 km traveled. Dozens of radio, newspaper, and magazine interviews. Countless humbling moments. And now, three very tired—but incredibly fulfilled—individuals.
Today marks Thursday, the final day of our mobility cane distribution tour, and what a journey it has been!
🚀 A Day of Impact: Exhausting Yet Unforgettable
Yesterday was the longest, most exhausting, and most rewarding day of the entire trip. The team set off at 5:30 AM from Mossel Bay, making their way to Worcester just in time for three back-to-back presentations:
✅ Hein Wagner Academy – Empowering future leaders with mobility tools
✅ Pioneer School for the Blind – Providing independence through white canes
✅ Innovation Centre for the Blind – Distributing the last of our mobility canes & solar-powered audio players
Alongside distributing canes, our team repaired mobility aids on the spot and handed over spare parts to the dedicated Orientation and Mobility specialists who work tirelessly to train and support the blind community.
💙 Thank You, Chris, Mike, and Sam!
Great work to Chris, Mike, and Sam for their unwavering commitment to changing lives—one cane and one guide at a time!
